July Ipsy Bag review!

July is coming to an end. This month has been crazy but I have a review for you! The bag for this month had some products I have never heard about and some I have. So lets get into it.
As you can see the bag for this month is very colorful. I love the pattern on the bag. Now for the products I got. These are not in any order. So lets get started. I am also going to show the price of the products so you can see how much you are getting for $10 a month. Most of the products are full size.

I got this perfume roller ball. It is by Jor'el Parker and the scent is called classico. I like the size of the bottle but the scent really isn't anything I would wear.  The size of the bottle I got runs around $21. Already that's more than the bag itself.

The next is this conditioning lip bomb from Jersey Shore Sun in vanilla coconut creme. It smells great. I love how it feels. It doesn't feel greasy and it helped my lips a lot. The price for this size is $10. They do have a bigger size for $5 more.

The next is this lipstick from bellapierre cosmetics. It is in the color P.I.N.K. On the website it calls it a hot pink color. To me it wasn't really hot pink. It is a great shade of pink with some micro-glitter. It doesn't smell like a crayon like most lipsticks do. To me it smells like vanilla. The picture under the lipstick is the color. The price of the lipstick is $19.99.

The next is this eyeliner pencil from eyetini in the color blue hawiian. It is a baby blue color. It makes a good accent color with a wing or on the lower lash line. It never need to be sharpened which for me is a plus. The web site said that it doesn't smudge. It did on me when I put lower water line. The cost of the liner is $18.
The last product is the Tarte water-proof bronzer in Park Avenue Princess. I love this color. It has enough simmer to give you a glow but not to much to were it looks like you threw glitter at your face. The thing I am most happy about is it is water proof! I accidentally when swimming with my make up on and it stayed. I was very surprised. The cost is about $30.

Thats it for this months bag! I will be posting a review a lip gloss I got from next next so stay tuned!

June Ipsy bag!

Hello wonderful people. I know that this post is late but I wanted to try out the products before I did any reviews on them. If you don't know Ipsy is a subscription service. Once a month they send you a make-up bag with five products to try. Some of the products are full size and some are trial sized. To start out you take a quiz so they can find out what you would like to try. You can retake the quiz as many times you want. This month there were some wins and misses. So here is what I got for the month of June. The package comes in a pink mailing bag. (which is a great idea)

Here is a picture of the bag! Now to see whats inside!

Here is a small peek of the bag. It is a black bag with ipsy written on it. I love the bag. I use it as my make up bag when I go places. It is slightly cushioned so I don't have to worry about my powder breaking.

The first is a nail polish from Aurora. I love the color. It is called "four alarm fire". It is a coral color. Perfect for summer time. It said it is like a gel polish. You don't need an UV light for it. It did not hold up like a gel polish. After one day I had to take it off because it chipped a lot. But besides that the color is great. I will wear it again but not to work.

The next thing I got were DePuff Eye Pads by Altchek MD. They were cooling. I noticed a difference after one use. I will re buy these if I have a chance.

The next is the IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal eyebrow pencil in universal taupe. I have dark brown hair and this pencil worked for me. It will also work with blonde too. I don't know if it will work with black hair but I will find out soon. I will by this again. To the right are the swatches. The left is the pencil.

My second favorite out of the bag is the TreStique Eye shadow pencil. I used it as a base and an eye shadow. I love this product. It is a a nude pink shimmer called Marimoto Pink Pearl. It takes five seconds to put on and looks great. I will buy this again.

My favorite of the month of June is the Smashbox foundation primer. It evened out my skin and helped my foundation stay on all day. It also helps to take great pictures. I didn't have to use any filters at all. I will buy this again.

Thanks for reading! Sorry this was late but I wanted to try them out longer than a week. I am excited for the July bag. It will be here in a few weeks, I can't wait. My next blog post will be about my new favorite make-up sponge call Beauty Blender.  I will link to Ipsy if you want to check out the site and sign up. Ipsy

Review of Nyx eyeliners

Today I got some stuff for review. I bought the Nyx eyeliner pen in "jet black" and an Nyx eye pencil in "teal". Here is where I get picky when I hear jet black i think a really black eye liner. I think of a blue based black. The Nyx liner is a brown based black. Here is a swatch of it.
The best thing about the liner it is a pen so it felt tip which makes it easier
do winged eyeliner.
Here is a picture of the pen and box.

Here is the tip. As you can see you can make a thick line or a thin line.Even though it is a brown based black I like it. The liner is easy to hold and apply.

Now for what I am excited about the Nyx liner in "teal" Here is the swatch of the color.
It is a true teal color. Blue, white and green are mixed perfectly. It is a crayon liner so it
very easy to smudge and blend with other colors. I love this color! I'm about to
compare the Nyx "teal' liner with Wet and wild liner in "turquoise"
The wet and wild color is dark and has more of a blue tint. Where the Nyx as more of a green base to it. Also the picture doesn't show this but the wet and wild color was gold and silver micro-glitter in it. Both of these colors are great for spring and summer looks. Sadly the wet and wild they don't make any more. I have had that pencil for years.

Here is a picture of all the products listed

I hope you enjoyed reading this and see you next time. I am going to post everyday if not every other day. Love you guys! Here is a link to Nyx

TOO FACED CHOCOLATE BAR PALETTE! Also a trend that is making a come back this summer!

Hello people! Sorry I have been so busy with school that I haven't had time to review the product I got myself for my birthday! I got the too faced chocolate bar palette! It is amazing I am only going to going a little into it.

Here is the palette! One of the things I find interesting is they use real coco powder to make the make-up. So it really does smell like chocolate. One down side I have found is some of the lighter colors like candied violet and strawberry bon bon are a bit powdery and they don't show up very well. You have to use a white base just for the true colors to stand out. But I love this palette! I am already planing on getting the Semi-sweet chocolate bar palette. I love the packaging. The box it comes in looks like a chocolate bar. The actual palette looks like a bar of chocolate. The marketing for this product is amazing. The only thing about this palette is the names of the colors are not printed on the case itself. They are on this clear plastic sheet. But other then that I love this palette. It also comes with a glamour guide for a few looks to help inspire your own. My favorite on is the milk chocolate.
It is also the easiest one on there.  I bought it from Ulta but Too Faced has a website. So I will put both links at the bottom of the page.

Now for the trend that is making a come back for the summer. Last summer we saw bright eyeliners on the lower lash line and nothing much on the top of the lid. It has come back so break out your neon colors that you never wear. Just apply on the lower lash line and add some mascara and your eyes are done! Fast and easy! If you don't have any bright colors just take some white eyeliner and use an angled brush with the eye shadow of your choice and pat it on to the liner.
Thanks for reading I promise I will try to do more post. I am about to go on a writing spree! Love you girls and guys!

Here are the links! Have fun!

Nyx jumbo eye shadow pencil

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while I have been REALLY busy with work and with school. So lets get started. I was looking through the NYX cosmetics stand at my local drug store and I found something interesting. Jumbo eye pencils the first thing I thought of was using them as a base for color pigments. It was a little over five dollars. I got the white color called milk. The color is just a simple white but it goes on smooth and it makes any color you put on top of it pop. I use it for everything from eye shadow base to a eye liner for under the eyes. White liner on the lower water makes your eyes look bigger and more open. Which is good if you are running late for school or work. It makes you look more awake. I love this product! I sometimes use an eye shadow primer but with these jumbo eye pencils I don't really need them. It goes on smooth and blends easily. They come in many colors to choose so the next question is which is the next color I will get? I don't even know but I know that which ever one I get will be amazing.  Here is a link to the nyx website.

Hoola By Benefit and ecoTools Brushes! :)

Hey People! Long time no review. lol I know it has been a while. Sorry. So lets get started. A few weeks ago we got an Ulta here. I got some brushes from ecoTools also. I will get to those later.
First I want to talk about the bronzer. I got Hoola by Benefit because I have not heard anything bad about it. I agree I couldn't find anything wrong with it. I have a very pale complexion and most bronzers that I have tried look like I put dirt on my face. I did not have the problem with this one. I recommend it if you have a coupon or you can get a good deal on it. The one thing I didn't like was the price. It was about $28.00 but I had a coupon with made it about $15.00.
Now for the ecoTools. I have multiple brushes to review on today. I have eye brushes which consists of the following blend, crease, highlight, shade, and smudge brush. Then I have two face brushes a domed and a deluxe fan brush. I LOVE them! The handles are made out of bamboo. They are very easy to hold and very durable. The bristles are the softest I have EVER had! I love them I want to get more brushes from them. They are amazing! Very easy to clean. I use baby shampoo and I rinse them off them carefully. Carefully smooth the brushes and lay them down on a towel to dry and you can use them the next day. I will put the link to benefit and to ecoTools.

Wet and Wild tinted moisturizer

Hello again! Sorry this is late I haven't had a change to write this review. So I have been using the Wet and Wild tinted moisturizer. I love it lately all I have been wearing is it. It gives me enough coverage that I don't need any foundation. It goes on smooth and feels like you aren't wearing anything.  So I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn't wear a lot of make-up. So my next review will be on the Hoola bronzer by Benefit.
